Keresdrakon is an Azhdarchoidea from the Cemitério dos Pterossauros a locality in Brazil. other pterasaurs from this desert enviroment include Caiuajara and Torukjara.

NMQR 1702 is from the late Permian of South Africa from Petersburg farm and likely is from the Cistacephalus Assemblage Zone. coexisting with groups like Rubidgeinae, Pareiasaurians, Therocephalians and Dicynodonts as well as other Biarmosuchians like Paraburnetia and Herpetoskylax.

Biarmosuchians are basal Therapsids that evolved in the middle Permian alongside the Dinocephalians but persisted afterwards until the very end of the Permian. the cranial ornamentation is likely for display with the Burnetiinae getting quite bizarre with it.

Introducing NMQR 1702, a Biarmosuchian and considered a part of Burnetiamorpha. Formerly considered Lemurosaurus, in 2021 Duhamel et al reexamined this specimen as well as the holotype of Lemurosaurus determining that the holotype is most likely an adult and NMQR 1702 may represent a new taxa.
