baby
view from over rayne's shoulder as rayne lies on the bed with an arm around CC, who is cuddling against their chest, wrapped in rayne's left arm and bundled in the fabric of the big floofy sweaterlower angle at CC's head height, her head emerging from a puddle of sweater, gently nose booping Rayne's finger on the other hand, with mostly closed eyes
a paw is just barely visible behind a fold of fabricsame low angle but CC is now looking directly at the camera, with a slightly squinting expression

most regrettably, it appears i am still having fun (presumably some kind of sin)
looking north from the end of the platforms at Canary Wharf DLR station, along elevated tracks that quite quickly lead between buildings to the next station only 50m away (West India Quay); the tracks have a zigzag to allow switching direction
a DLR train apprpaches to the left, and we're looking over the shoulder of one of my cameras mounted on a tripod which is videoing the sceneme posing for a seffie at West India Quay next to my dear friend, the compact Nikon, which is on a tripod at eye height
it's a Coolpix L30 which is adorably small and kinda crap but does at least have a short optical lens, unlike a phone

my face is uncovered but we're outdoors and nobody else is anywhere near (it was covered in Canary Wharf and on the train itself)view over the shoulder of the Nikon's perspective at West India Quay, recording trains taking the sharp curves of the elevated tracks; one is doing so now
the focus is on the camera and the view displayed on its screen, showing the train in frontview out of the front windshield of a DLR train (DLR are automated, no driver) with both my gopros stuck to the glass, getting a forward perspective view
we're somewhere near Stratford and a friend train approaches going in the opposite direction on our right

my idea of fun on my day off #highSpeedOne
pointy noses of the Southeastern Javelin trains that run domestically on High Speed 1me in my window seat, with cameras on the window ready to go
through the window, the modern architecture of the newer St Pancras platforms is visible, all brushed steel and flat ceilingslooking over the shoulder of my pair of cameras at a parked Eurostar over at the international platforms

adoring the vibes of this one #odeToTheHalfBroken
cropped photo, to reduce spoilers, of a page from Ode to the Half Broken:

...the rain across the next six cars before reaching the locomotive engine itself. I am about to ask if I may come in, when the door opens.
I enter.
The interior is not too dissimilar to how 1-Betty had looked, with much of the spave given over to the train's mindsystem and support infrastructure, but there is also an old but serviceable sofa with a small, overflowing bookshelf and a hanging stained-glass lamp. A calico cat watches me warily as I enter.
The sofa is too small for me, and I fear breaking it or antagonizing the cat, so I sit on the locomotive floor.
...

playstation "news about one of your follows!" me _clicks Expand_ playstation _opens the game's _Steam_ page_ uhhhhh... what?
a photo of the tv, because screenshotting here is disabled, showing a web browser window open on the PS5 to display information about an upcoming game

except for some reason the page with the information is the game's Steam page, which is honestly probably better but surprising that Sony allows this (and fed it to me as a notification); obviously if i purchased on this page i would not be able to play the game on this device

the game in question is Boltgun 2, if you want to test this for yourself (otherwise, the content in the image about Slaanesh etc is irrelevant to the point here)

ooo interesting, i found a place _within_ London that also uses 165s, the Greenford Branch
the front/back (in this case the driver just got out, so it will be the back) of a BR Class 165 diesel commuter train parked at West Ealing, in delightful GWR greenseffie of me in my usual niche in the corner of a carriage, with my cameras attached to the window at around eye heightview through the window of trees passing by, with my cameras blurry in the near field, recordingan Elizabeth Line train pulls into the station on the left; a sign in the middle identifies the station as West Ealing; on the right, the Greenford line track leads onward from an empty platform before curving off to the right

note that the Greenford track has neither a third rail nor an overhead power cable

perspective shot, converse propped up on a rock as waves crash on big rocks below, in clear river watera view across Britannia bay, looking south west; big rocks guard where we are with a little shore with reeds beyond them, and then across quite a few kilometres of flat water, a narrow strip between water and sky arcs roundlooking over the top of a lot of reeds, along a spit of rocks where people are fishing, across the wide wide body of the Ottawa river towards Quebec, which is faded blue in the backgroundenormous rocks a metre across each build up a protective spit several metres high; up on top, we can't see the height but we can see a carving of a fish skeleton (??)

me in my corner with my two cameras on the window, the view through the window blurred but the image of it on the gopro screen surprisingly clear (an office building)focusing in on the pair of gopros, together leaning on each other in a way that should prevent slumping or tilting - it has for 45 minutes so it's looking good right now
the world is out of focus, but a little image of it on screen is sharplooking up at the Shard

oh to just go live on a giant column surrounded by trains like one of the prophets of old
looking along the tracks from Woodland Bridge in Putney, where we can see the arches of a brickwork viaduct descend to track level over a half kilometre or so, and in front of that, two huge broken-topped victorian brick columns - maybe three storeys tall? - of where a rail bridge used to fly over, but doesn't any longer
to the side the edge where the track used to end and now cuts off into empty space is visible
the tops of the columns are maybe a dozen square metres, long and narrow, and have small trees growing out of them

(EDIT: No, I do not want to debate the percentages of LLM code allowed or "how will people enforce this, I can still vibe code and not tell". This is a statement about intent by a community. It will be a moderation challenge, especially with so many people who have made "coding with an LLM" their whole personality but it's doable.
