Don’t forget to shovel snow away from fire hydrants. A fire doubles in size every minute. You don’t want firefighters spending precious minutes getting access to a fire hydrant when your house, or a neighbor’s house is on fire.

I wonder if anything is overwintering in the insect hotel my husband made last fall. There is a section with wool and some of that has been taken. Hopefully the wool has made a cozy nest for some critters. #gardens #nativeplants
