A minute or two after the game ended, the Canadian broadcast cut to a very neutral-looking crowd. It was weird.

Erica / Rookie @ericamtl.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Did they seriously just cut to a crowd shot of Penguins fans, whose team just won their home opener early in overtime, and not a single one of them looked impressed?

I love that the Habs are now so good that national broadcasters have no choice but to occasionally sound excited about them

Surely it should be Bruce Wayne day and Batman night and no-one ever realises why they’re on the same day?

I see people liking this and I appreciate the likes but I also would not say no to an explanation.

I've seen him at a couple of comic cons and he has this intensity and brilliance to him that I can't quite describe other than, somehow this doesn't surprise me at all. Also if anyone reading this has a chance to see Giancarlo Esposito do a Q&A or a speaking engagement or really anything, do it

Am I supposed to be reading it in MAD Magazine grammar? "What, we do in the shadows?"

Last week on Jeopardy Masters one of the contestants claimed that "What We Do In The Shadows" is a question. I've literally spoken English for most of my life and I don't think I understand how it could be a question.

Today I found out that there are koi competitions, similar to dog shows, and this is completely unrelated but does anyone know how to get in touch with Christopher Guest to pitch a sequel to Best in Show?

I heard rumors that Amazon Prime started investing more in original movie and series productions just so post-divorcr Jeff Bezos would get invited to awards shows to meet actresses

Dad's thoughts on the halftime show: "Is Madonna outside or inside?" "Is that [referring to Ted Lasso] the man from the commercials?" "They managed to do a halftime show without all the military stuff, but it's still early. They might be saving it for after the game"

France, Belgium, and Switzerland's World Cup teams all seem to have embraced "Freed From Desire" and i was going to say "you can't all have ownership of a song" but then I remembered the chokehold that Mr Brightside has on Canada, the US and the UK.
