One of my greatest simple pleasures is getting seeds stuck in my teeth only to slip out an hour later for my enjoyment. Poppy and chia, but especially strawberry and sesame seeds. They're a quantum of delight from one-hour-ago-Seth paying it forward. That guy; what a mensch.

A lot of framing of inequality is that it's a consequence of growth. That's true, but only half. Wealth concentration is good for growth: it's organized and efficient. So as long as growth is the measure of economic success, vast inequality is not a consequence of the system but an objective.
