This card’s a real quiet sicko for Pauper that I feel like barely anyone’s talked about. Bogles gets to play this with both First Strike AND Trample. And if they somehow kill the Creature you get it back, which is important in a deck like Bogles with so few of them. This one rocks.

Went 2-3 in a five round (!!) Prerelease. Played Esper Control for the first two matches and then pivoted into Red-Green splashing black for removal. Green felt shallow originally, but apparently playing your bombs is the way. 🤷 Empower Jace is a super interesting design, though. #MTGFracture
