Our paper with @emilkamalov.bsky.social is out (open access)! Among other things, we found that Russian wartime emigrants support those fleeing Russia for political reasons not only out of solidarity but also with a motivation to shape the diaspora's antiwar image in response to discrimination.

New article out in Communist and Post-Communist Studies. Based on 56 interviews with activists of the Feminist Anti-War Resistance, it looks at how feminist anti-war activism in exile works with grief, guilt, and exhaustion to sustain political engagement over time. The article is now open access.

New Publication: One of our recent pieces with @vetasergeeva.bsky.social has just been published in Post-Soviet Affairs. We argue that politically motivated emigrants experience a distinct set of psychological stressors, most of which are related to their autocratic homelands. tinyurl.com/mpm6pekp
