Being in your 50s is confusing. On paper, I’m 55. At a concert, I’m 24. After 8/9 PM, I’m 88. Getting up off the floor makes me 115. But when the'80s music starts playing, I’m 17 all over again.

Haiti and the Dominican Republic share the last Caribbean island with endemic malaria. Malaria was once endemic across much of the Caribbean. This map shows how much progress has been made: the islands in green are all malaria-free.

Mis/disinformation appears very targeted. You just need to know the things GB News and Daily Mail fear (equality and educating the masses) and you can guess the targets: a brown mayor (who’s going a fantastic job); climate scientists; teachers; doctors and nurses in the NHS; young people….

The biggest change on the school run isn't what's there - it's what's not. On average, there are now 73,915 fewer car journeys on school days in the capital. That means healthier, greener choices, and cleaner air for our kids.
Graphic with the headline “Imagine a queue of cars from London to Newcastle.” A map of England shows a line of cars stretching from London to Newcastle upon Tyne. An orange circle states “On average, 73,915 fewer car journeys.” Text at the bottom reads: “That’s how many fewer car trips are being made in London each school day compared with when the Mayor took office ten years ago.” The Mayor of London logo appears at the bottom right.

Graphic with a blue background and the headline “Cleaner air. Healthier lungs.” At the top is the Mayor of London logo. A photograph shows two children running along the Thames with Tower Bridge in the background.

Text below reads: “A landmark study by Queen Mary University of London found that, following the introduction of the ULEZ, lung growth in children in Central London accelerated, helping them catch up with children outside the capital.”

Why is climate change causing drought and heavy rainfall? - NCAS
Climate change is increasing weather extremes, so a location can experience both severe drought and severe flooding within the same month, season, or year.

Bar chart which shows y-axis running 0-8000, and x-axis showing years 2019 and 2024. For 2019, a light orange bar runs up to just over 6000, with a darker orange running up to 8000. For 2024, a green bar runs up to 4000, with a dark green running to about 5000. The text "40% lower" is on the lighter green bar. Text at the top of the graphic reads "Estimated air pollution deaths are down by around 40%. New analysis estimates deaths associated with air pollution in London reduced substantially between 2019 and 2024." Text at the bottom of the graphic reads "Note: darker shading shows estimated ranges.
