The Australian government's decision to "save billions" by passing the latest #NDIS bill, thereby punishing, harming, and potentially killing many #disabled and #chronicallyill people, is heartbreaking and just so, so illogical. I'm actually fuming.

My hot take today is: You should wear a mask when attending events for authors who mask (most of whom are disabled and/or chronically ill and among "the vulnerable"!!!). This helps ensure the author can continue writing, and shows them you value their life and labour, not just their work. 1/2
