Unless gender is used as a synonym for sex, it's meaningless undefinable "essence of whatever" nonsense. Sex (body one requires to be existentially okay, grow literal selfhood, etc.) is as innately hardwired as sexuality; unlike 99% of people, 1% aren't born with the body that matches their sex.

Watched a movie recently! "Project Hail Mary" is... *Recommended* I disliked it at first, feeling disdain for yet another bland big budget sci-fi with panel tested humor and depth. Then I realized it's a family movie, great for older kids/young teens. It's heartwarming and cute.

Watched a movie recently! "Avatar: Fire and Ash" is... *Recommended* I mean, it's Avatar 3. A big, dumb spectacle. It's not a good movie, it's just not. But it is fun if you've bought into Avatar. Have some more tall blue cat aliens and "MA'JAKE!" And things get weirder in this one.

Watched a movie recently! "Companion" is... *Recommended* So it's not incredible or necessarily even rewatchable. But I had fun. Kinda stylish. Some potential depth they left on the table, but enough heart and dramatic weight. I liked the two leads. A robot companion does some things.

Wasn’t a transition, one thing becoming another thing. It was an alignment/fix. Sex (body one requires to be existentially okay and grow selfhood) is as innately hardwired as sexuality, and I am a female. My deadname had no sense of self/reality, her memories feel like someone else’s bad dream.

It’s impossible for humans to change their sex because it’s as innately hardwired as sexuality…you can only ensure your body aligns with your sex, which is what 1% of the population fixes to literally exist. There’s nothing extra/different or “trans” (becoming something else) about “trans” people.
