I’ve been so busy that I’ve neglected my TikTok, which is a shame because I absolutely love it especially connecting with women and discussing important issues. Reasonable take: you cannot gut the games industry of thousands of wildly skilled people and not expect it to absolutely be felt in the quality of games. My sincere hope is this pushes more people to go make their own games and sparks an absolute renaissance of indie developers.

I’ve been learning that one way autism shows up is in very black-and-white shifts. A lot of neurotypical people can get new information showing a person doesn't align with them morally and still keep someone around. I genuinely can’t. So, my cutoff game can feel abrupt. But it’s rarely random.

We often frame progressive ideas to signal to our side not like messaging designed to persuade people. Marketing is intended to persuade people. I dropped a few slogans and the replies were basically “why isn’t this the messaging.” So, here’s the screenshots. I’m begging campaigns to use these.

The Daughters of Penelope, with support from our sisters at Maids of Athena, successfully raised funds for childhood cancer yesterday. It took so much planning, volunteers, and donors to make this happen but I'm honored to be part of this cause. When women work together, we can accomplish so much 💛🏛️
