More excellent work by @nicholasdcarter.bsky.social, showing why 'regenerative grazing' is nicer to cows but not the climate and biodiversity answer some wish it to be. Because maintaining large cattle populations is still "among the worst options for climate, biodiversity, and food production."

This is good to remember, as the US imports *more beef* from Brazil and Argentina to make it cheaper. Excessive consumption of beef (and the ever-expanding use of land for cattle feed) is eating away at this planet's cooling systems -- like rainforests.
