Wrote some Doctor Who things you can listen to and a lot of social media posts you can read, though I only recommend one of these at the most.

And that's about that! I don't know if that helped or just made things far more confusing XD

This disturbance has grown so bad that the entire 'Thirteen Worlds' universe bubble in total is beginning to 'shake' in the multiverse, smashing it against Avallion, among others, causing the dimensional incursions of the kaiju and etc.

Guinevere's activities have created disturbances within the World Tree which is causing its branches to 'sway' and smash the universe bubbles containing the 13 Worlds into one another, tearing open breaches and creating huge upheaval.

Since they are still able to interact there is a geopolitical balance between them (cosmopolitical?). Albion historically has been a commanding voice in these affairs, due to the impact of Arthur's reign and being the location of the Round Table. This imperial phase has faded now though.

Felicia Barker @eiphel.bsky.social · 23/06/2026
The Thirteen Worlds are still able to communicate with each other and teleport between each other using powerful magics (an even more potent version of which was what Morgaine used to come to Avallion), but you can't mundanely walk through a gate any more, so they are much more isolated.

Felicia Barker @eiphel.bsky.social · 23/06/2026
These bubbles were not entirely sealed off from each other - Because the World Tree ran through each of them, there used to be gateways and wormholes between them. But after Vortigern's dragon damaged the worlds, they had to close these and seal the borders, with the ritual of the Round Table.

Felicia Barker @eiphel.bsky.social · 23/06/2026
Then you have 13 Universe bubbles, each of which contains a physical universe. One of these is Albion. (Another named in the script are Fomor and Infernum. In my notes I named some others. Mannan, Faerie, Ultima Thule.)

Unlike the Void, which is literally a void, the Otherworld 'contains' Nothing. It is populated by nonexistence. This is a legacy of its creation from what used to be the 14th World. It retains laws and power despite being outside existence.

Felicia Barker @eiphel.bsky.social · 23/06/2026
The 13 Worlds is another Universe bubble but when you go inside it, it's weird. Instead of simply containing a single normal physical laws universe like ours, it contains its own microcosm of the multiverse. The empty space here is the Otherworld.

Felicia Barker @eiphel.bsky.social · 23/06/2026
So, the whole thing in totality is the Multiverse. Within the Multiverse are a bunch of universe, and the 'space' between them is the Void. Avallion (Our Universe) is one big universe bubble. Pete's World is another. (IMO the closer to perfect parallels two universe are, the 'closer' their bubbles.)
A grey box labelled 'Multiverse'. The grey space inside is labelled 'The Void'. Within the Void are three large bubbles. The first two are labelled Avallion and Pete's World. The third is labelled 'The 13 Worlds' and contains more detail: There is a grey interior here too, labelled 'The Otherworld'. Then there are 13 green bubbles, one of which is labelled 'Albion'. The green bubbles are joined by brown 'branches'.

Alright so, first things first, this isn't canon, this is just what was in my head. If it's not in the text it's not in the text. If you don't like this idea, your own ideas are just as legitimate. So this was what I pictured when I was writing ep2.

Felicia Barker @eiphel.bsky.social · 21/06/2026
I can draw you what I was picturing if you like! But I am loathe to impose authorial vision on people so don't take it as 'canon'

It still really stuns me how much his inability/unwillingness to do the personality theatre part of the job, even in a time when it was not as pronounced as today, really seems to have prevented anyone noticing what he actually did.

Overall, it essentially defines trans people as a category of sex of their own (a third sex) in a country that believes sex is binary and only legally recognises two sexes (but of course, now no longer legally recognises any record of legal sex)

I don't think it's a good idea to legally privilege someone else's discomfort over another person's rights.
13.147 A legitimate aim for excluding a trans person from a separate or single-sex service for their own sex might be to prevent discomfort or distress for other service users.

If you think someone is trans, you can ask, however be sure to ask in a say that wouldn't put them at a disadvantage or seem hostile or that is harassment. If they deny it, you can ask them to prove it, however there aren't any documents that would work to prove it. Hope this clarifies things.

I am not hugely surprised at how bad the position they have taken is. I am surprised at how fucking bananas the actual document is.

Really enjoyed the Christophers, which is more like Black Bag than you might expect in some ways (though ends in a very different mode). Still find Soderbergh's work this decade slightly off kilter. Feel like I am beginning to develop a grand unified theory of Soderbergh though.

I liked it a lot but I did also feel like I had seen the film before. Very much felt like Bait and Enys Men just mixed together (and I loved those whereas I only liked this).

Whatever you do,
A large white waterfowl with orange feet stands in front of a door. On the door is a cardboard sign secured with tape that reads, "DO NOT LET THE DUCK IN."

Adding insult to injury, I think the duck might be a goose.

But I think it's just putting on an act really. I think actually it's a big old sentimental soppy bleeding heart and it's just pretending to be an antisocial grouch to hide what a big softy it really is. After all, one must imagine hissy puss sappy.
