How I use words part 1: Religion A cultural phenomenon that requires individuals express beliefs in common dogma, and their actual inner belief is what defines membership. Protestant Christianity is a religion, being Jewish isn't. Being Catholic arguably isn't, and certainly being Muslim isn't.

I just want to share a random thought: our justice system, our prison system, is not more just than Hammurabi's code. An eye for an eye implies that the punishment should never exceed the crime, yet our justice system routinely punishes people to decades in prison for minor thefts.
