This is bizarre. Like the editor of the guardian or mail or any other paper complaining repeatedly about the front page lead they decided to run with. Very good example of what's wrong with broadcast news - they've given up deciding for themselves what is or isn't news and what the priorities are

US president signals potential room for adjustments after Zelenskyy says proposals force Ukraine to choose between national dignity and losing the US Donald Trump said on Saturday that his Moscow-drafted “peace plan” was “not my final offer”, after a furious backlash from Ukrainians who described it as reminiscent of Neville Chamberlain’s 1938 Munich agreement with Adolf Hitler. The US president told reporters during brief remarks at the White House: “We’d like to get to peace. It should’ve happened a long time ago … we’re trying to get it ended, one way or the other we have to get it ended.” Continue reading...

UK health officials urge extra precautions, including wearing a mask if you have symptoms, as 4 winter viruses spread: RSV, Flu, COVID and Norovirus. Source: archive.md/z6uDK
A Manchester Evening News article headline reads: “UKHSA says ‘wear a mask’ as four viruses spread in UK.” The subheading notes that health officials expect “further increases” in winter virus levels as colder months arrive. The article is written by Bethan Finighan and dated November 21, 2025 at 16:08.

Below the headline is a photograph of a woman standing on a train platform. She has blonde hair and is wearing a white medical mask and a coat with a fur collar. A blurred train is visible behind her. A caption beneath the image says that people with symptoms of winter viruses are encouraged to wear a face covering.
