One of those critical mechanisms for long-term resilience is the “filling of the funnel” of innovation. Not every research-funded path turns into GPUs (30+ yrs of public-funded dev) or Li+ batteries (created at Exxon, issues corrected by Goodenough at Oxford), but we MUST walk every path regardless

2️⃣ Personal carbon footprints can inform people about which of their actions are most carbon-intensive. This solves a real problem, as most people lack knowledge about which behavior changes matter for climate change mitigation (understandably, since this is complex).
