Anecdotally, Schwalbe Pro-Ones are way better. I've only had big slash punctures with them towards the end of their life whilst I've had to replace multiple almost new GP5Ks after slashing them.

This is where we get on to the bike technique side: momentarily before the line, Remco stops pedalling and puts all of his effort into throwing the bike across the line. Ciccone takes the opposite approach, keeping on pedalling and lunging late, losing him the race yet leaving him at a higher speed.

Remco's bike is clearly longer than Ciccone's (despite having a 6mm shorter wheelbase), showing a lower speed across the line. Despite this, we can see a few slices in the photo finish which show his wheel but not Ciccone's. ⬇️

speed across the finish line to be higher and for him to be in front after the line. Except he's not. What we actually observe is Ciccone having greater speed across the line. This can be seen in the photo finish. As the image shows time along the x axis, a shorter bike implies a higher speed. ⬇️

As we know how long their bikes are and that dt is constant across the image, we can use speed=distance/time to find the speed of the two riders. Now let's break down the sprint: Remco is coming from behind with a higher average speed over the last 100m, logically speaking, one would expect his ⬇️

Ciccone has voiced his dissatisfaction with yesterday's result and has posted a photo of himself just after the finish line, ahead of Remco in an attempt to say that he's the legitimate winner, having been in front just before and just after the line. I wanted to speak on an amendment to motion EO2 Zionism is racism at Green Party conference today, but was not called on. I’ve copied over what I would have said in the next posts. I was heartbroken this amendment fell and that the vote went against providing this protection for Jewish members.

This amendment is to mitigate the possiblity that this motion could be used to achive indirect discrimination against practising Jews

Add after actions 2. ADD

This motion shall not be used to pressure, proscribe or discipline members based on affiliation with Jewish community institutions, such as synagogues, community centres or denominational groups, that describe themselves as Zionist or used to discipline or sanction Jewish members for expressing views that would be non sanctionable if expressed by non Jewish members such as (such as support for a binational state, or two state solution).
