Wide angled view of the entire model. The temple (based on the realmshaper engine terrain piece) was scratchbuilt and is made to resemble the slann flying the pyramid across the jungle on their way to their next conflict, by way of his powerful magic.

The guns of the original model are represented by the solar engine gun from the bastilodon kit, powering up to fire thanks to its crew of skinks. Other guns are represented by saurus warriors manning ballistae.

look it was a busy month and I didn’t have a ton of time so here’s me rebuilding a ww2 plane kit (a Corsair from airfix I think?) that I previously used for parts for other things then tore back off and rebuilt along with some other misc junk to bulk up the mid section and change the silhouette a bit. Also I’m so glad those luftwaffe decals from the wingtips I used didn’t show through. Picture 4 shows the model pre paint as proof it’s not QUITE as lazy as it looks

I recognize the potential for tech advancements, but my question is less about the inputs than about the market. Unless we're literally replacing billion-dollar movies with AI development (with the same ticket sales), what is the product that people will pay for that has positive ROI?

I've been thinking about 3D printers. There were newspaper articles every day about the new thing that 3D printers were definitely going to solve in the future. But when it turned out that 3D printing wasn't scalable, it was still good for specific applications. I'd guess that's where AI is headed.

I think the issue is that "a tool that improves programmer productivity" isz not a product that justifies a trillion dollars' worth of investment across multiple major corporations. And I don't see how AI evolves past that.
