I’m halfway considering subscribing to SiriusXM so as not to have to hear Roman Mars doing a Claude AI ad over and over, but that feels like rewarding the behavior, so I’ll likely just grimace my way through 99pi every now and again

As someone who is graduating college next week, I have never nor ever considered using ai for anything. It baffles me that its considered a “boomer take” from people when it has never once crossed my mind. You are going to and paying for school to learn, so… learn.

When that article came out about students using Chat GPT for coursework, I tried not to have a "kids these days" boomer take. But honestly I am just very sad that young people do not see the value in forming a point of view and using language or imagery to communicate it. I really want to

Adams must be removed. The city cannot sustain being governed for nearly a year by a Mayor who is being coerced by Trump admin in order to escape charges. This corruption poses a real threat to the people of the city. He should have resigned a while ago, but will not. So it’s time for him to go.

If you are a federal worker being offered a buyout, I would advise against taking it. Of course, this is a personal decision for everyone and it’s your choice. But these offers are a rush job. The legality is questionable and this admin does not keep to its word. They aren’t firing for a reason.

Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent. Opportunities are everywhere. Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉

to recap: — Trump was *for* the TikTok ban — which the GOP Congress passed — and the GOP Supreme Court upheld — and even though Biden said he wouldn't enforce the ban, TikTok shut down anyway — so that Trump could "save" it — and the media fell for it we really do live in the dumbest fucking country

You are being manipulated. TikTok did not need to cut access like this. They are instead falsely setting up Trump to be a hero. Please please listen to any of many podcasts or read any of the many articles about what TikTok actually had to do because of the ban. None of them say this. It's a stunt.

since this will always be circulating, i might as well be the first one to put it here: the stretch tips i made many years ago… remember to stop and stretch and take care of your hands! be mindful of your work time & listen to your body.

a bunch of drawn diagrams of hand stretches. the text at the top reads MAKE TIME TO STRETCH!

it shows wrist extensions and flexions, with the arm straight out and hand palm out with the hand gently stretched up and down. the same stretches with the hand in a fist. the same stretch but with the palm against a wall. a stretch of pressing your palms together with wrists parallel to the ground and slowly lowering the heels of the palms. and a gentle shaking out of the hands.

Character design I've done for my thesis so far \o/ #characterdesign #ocsky

Character lineup of 3 people.

The first is a fat man in a corset and slacks. The corset doesn't cover his chest, showing top surgery scars.

The second is a skinny tan man in dirty clothes. He has a brown overcoat that is frayed near the bottom and striped slacks that are covered in mud near the bottoms.

The third is a tall, pale woman with curly red hair. She's wearing an underbust corset and briefs. She's wearing a red garter belt and fishnet stockings.

Character lineup of 2 characters

The first is a man with curly blonde hair. He has heavy scarring on the left side of his face. He's wearing a purple shirt with puffed sleeves and a jockstrap.

The second is a thicker black person with a red vest, a black bra, and loose red chaps

Character lineup of 2 trans men

The first is tanner and heavier. He's wearing a layered ruff, suspenders, and white slacks. He's holding a beer bottle and an empty glass.

The second is smaller and pale. He's wearing a corset, a jacket-like thing with puffy sleeves, bikini briefs, and a codpiece.
