This one reply really struck me

Yoshiyuki Tomino, the anime director famous for Gundam, also emphasized the importance of studying stage plays, literature, and literary arts to cultivate a nuanced understanding of expression and reading comprehension.

That's why it's not uncommon to hear that works created by otaku with narrow knowledge, raised solely on comics, anime, and games, end up lacking any depth.

The older I get, the more my politics mature from childish, naïve beliefs like "the world is complicated and leaders have to make hard decisions" to more serious, adult principles like "hurting people is bad and helping people is good."

I guess this has probably already gone viral somewhere but I am simply dying at this picture of a bear that looks like it hired a photographer to do a glamour shoot

James Gunn's #Superman is the first superhero movie that actually feels like a superhero comic. Like picking up a random issue that starts in the middle of the action and you don't really know WTF is going on at first and it's batshit insane in the BEST possible way. More of this, please!

Important to note; Japan has way stricter laws around laying people off. Actual protections from its government that force companies to do things like have execs take pay cuts before doing a mass layoff. The solution to this problem is not a “good” CEO. It’s systemic and complete reform.

Two stags bounding downhill. One stag is leaping over another stag. The lower stag is a deer's skeleton in a silhouette of a deer. Both deer are bound loosely by a red thread. Drawn in pen, ink, and gouache for a group art show.

Ace of Swords tarot card. This card features a howling wolf. Between the wolf's jaws is a rising sword with a crown and olive branches draping from the crown. There are feathery, venous red branches weaving throughout. Digital illustration, personal work.

Tapestry-like illustration of a two headed serpentine dragon struck by a sword in its back. One of the heads have been cut off, leaving a thorny rose branch growing from where the head used to be. There are roses subtly scattered in the background. The dragon is framed by a decorated gold-ish frame with roses and thorn motifs. Digital illustration, personal work.

Persephone as a fawn, her head cradles by the hands of Demeter. The fawn is hiding among a grape vineyard, avoiding her fate to return to Hades. However her soul is leaving her and returning to the underworld, represented by a fawn's skeleton within a fawn silhouette. Digital illustration for Blood of Gods metal and wine magazine.
