I have my computer back up and running with a new drive and (begrudgingly) Windows 11. The GPU was totally cooked, and needs to be replaced. Using a loaner the repair guy lent me that's 11 months older than the one that got cooked until I get a replacement, so that's fun I guess.

It pisses me off how much people hated Red Faction Armageddon because it wasn’t another open-world cars and guns game. The Magnet Gun is fucking glued in my brain as one of the coolest and most fun weapons I’ve ever used in a shooter. I didn’t use any other weapon.
