#NorfolkFloraGroup visited #RSPB 's Hope Farm yesterday- thank you so much @duerden.bsky.social for showing us around and answering lots of questions. We made over 300 records, and were especially pleased to see broad-leaved spurge and slender tare, amongst many other lovely plants.

Two new records for RSPB Hope Farm this week. First, what I think is Galium × pomeranicum the hybrid between Hedge Bedstraw (G. album, left) and Lady's Bedstraw (G. verum, right). The Hedge Bedstraw especially has become quite dominant in these sown, in-field strips. (1/2)

Adder's-tongue was a surprising first record for RSPB Hope Farm this week! 73 plants near a pond in old permanent pasture. The grazing regime has been relaxed in the last couple of years which could explain why it has not been found before.

It's not often you see two new fish in a day, let alone two new new non-native invasive fish. Following on the from the Sunbleak netted earlier, I also saw Topmouth Gudgeon, Pseudorasbora parva, a species in the process of being eradicated from Britain.
