An explanation on why Big Walk isn't available on Xbox. bigwalk.game/xbox

Regarding Xbox

In June 2026 we announced that the release of Big Walk would be limited to computers, Switch 2 and PS5. Since then, we have received many messages and comments, asking about a future Xbox release. We would like to address those questions here:

We have made the decision not to release Big Walk on Xbox, in accordance with the Palestinian-led BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) movement’s call to boycott Microsoft, and their designation of Microsoft Games (and Xbox) as a priority boycott target. If you need help understanding our motives, we would recommend reading about why Microsoft is a BDS priority target, the successes this kind of pressure has already had on Microsoft, and especially, watching this great introductory piece by People Make Games.

It has always been our intention for Big Walk to be played by groups of friends, and we know that keeping the game off Xbox runs counter to those intentions. This decision means that some people will miss out on playing Big Walk with their friends, and we understand the disappointment we’re causing. We are disappointed too.

We would love for people to be able to play the game on Xbox, but not until Microsoft and/or Xbox have been removed as BDS boycott targets.

We’ve made this decision with the belief that meaningful change can be made in the world, that coordinated collective action can confront even the most powerful interests, and that one day, Palestine will be free.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,
House House

Less than 50 pages into Other Worlds than These, and I’ve spotted at least 2 instances where the digits of numbers add up to 19! Hell yeah, we are so back, thankee!!!

Just got out of Tangles. It was the most remarkable, moving, funny and tragic movie I’ve ever scene. I ugly cried so hard, but in a good way. A truly beautiful masterpiece!

IT DID IT!!!!!! I got 100% accuracy on the entire Slipknot workout in Supernatural VR!! Feels awesome to pull this off, especially as we get closer to the new app coming out! Bonus: Look at my heart rate, following the same trajectory as my hit streak!

screen shot of the Slipknot workout in Supernatural VR, showing I got 100% accuracy, with 90% speed. (Unfortunately, not my highest score)

Freaks Part II is gnarly as fuck!! Had an absolute blast!! (Love how messy all the characters and their motivations are. Really makes them and the world feel more gritty and grounded)

Had some time to kill this afternoon, so I did some doodles! The first one’s a self portrait., which I haven’t done in a whiiiiile! Really liked the few faces I played around with today, especially the short haired lady and wrinkly old man. The Raise Your Horns by Halestorm came on, so I obliged!

Celia Gooding's Uhura has been the best realized character in Strange New Worlds. So any episode that focuses on her always feels particularly special. But this week's episode went above and beyond, and she absolutely rocked rocked that TOS Uhura costume!! What a finale!

I think ecigs are basically just vapes. Though, that is a good point. I’m guessing vapers have a whole different kind of slang for going out for a dart.

Human Duecipede @duecenage.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Just a super silly thought that popped into my head. Do people even refer to cigarettes as "darts" anymore?

Handshake meme: Left side says "Teenage Smokers in between highschool classes." Right side says "3D Animators doing an eyeline pass." and they are both asking "Do I have time for a quick dart?"

Oh hey, a new Brad Bird film... too bad his hand-wavey, dismissal of John Lasseter's actions, as well as Lasseter's involvement as Producer on this movie has tainted any enjoyment from it for me...

One of my favourite driving memories is seeing my dad, palm on the steering wheel of his truck, having to spin it 2 and half times to make a turn. Not wooden, but the idea of having to spin lots to make turns is the best!
