Did you know your MacBook has a sensor that knows the exact angle of the screen hinge? It’s not exposed as a public API, but I figured out a way to read it and make it sound like an old wooden door.

Something I had rolling around in my head since the KIM chats last December that I just now got around to doing. #warframefanart #tennocreate #warframe
A fake TTRPG player's handbook cover based on Fables & Frontiers mentioned in Warframe. It features all of the Hex as fantasy class versions of themselves. Amir is a rogue dual wielding daggers. Quincy is a Ranger with a longbow and Kalymos as his loyal pet. Aoi is a bard playing a lute. Arthur is a paladin in plate armor. Eleanor is a warlock wielding dark magics. Lettie is a cleric who lifts her whip aloft as it glows with holy magic. Corrupted vines twist in front of the group. Albrect Entrati looms large in the back with Entrati themed armor.

A reinterpretation of the Beaufort scale, as printed on the box for an electric air duster. I’m a fan of 4, though there are two different numbers for both Gale and Fierce Wind.
A picture of the results of translation from English to Chinese to English (I assume). Wind scale, numeric, 1-12, 0 = calm, 3 = breeze, 4 = Japanese?! The scale goes beyond 12, up to 16 which is this air duster.

LG think my fridge is an rpg or some sort of adventure game - I bought the fridge to be used, it’s an appliance! There’s no benefit in hiding features when features are a selling point when it comes to appliances!
A notification from the LG app saying that my fridge has hidden features like express freeze, alerts if the door is open, monitor energy usage etc.

2024 currently has more known games industry layoffs than 2023+2022 combined. 2024 is roughly 600 layoffs away from doubling 2023. There is still plenty of business days left in the month. I can't emphasize enough how extreme these last few years have been. So far.
