This week I ran our first Mind in Motion workshop with First Star to teach science. This would never have been possible without the amazing program leaders at First Star. It was an honor to work with the students and we hope to do more events together! 🧬🧪🔭 #fostercare #firststar #science

The lab participated in Phoenix Fan Fusion this past weekend to talk to the public about neuroscience. Everyone had a blast making pipe cleaner neurons and learning about neural activity. It is important to connect to our community and show why science is so important to keep funding! 🧪🧬🔬

What does “funding student research” actually mean? It means a grad student gets to run one more experiment. It means a dataset doesn’t get left unanalyzed. It means a good idea gets a real chance. That’s how progress happens. Support here: tinyurl.com/SocialNeurolab #STEMEducation #FundScience
