Among participants with rifampicin-resistant tuberculosis, a 6-month treatment strategy consisting of bedaquiline, linezolid, delamanid, and levofloxacin or clofazimine was noninferior to the standard treatment. Full phase 3 BEAT Tuberculosis trial results: nej.md/4w7aekw
A graph shows risk difference with 95% confidence intervals for unstratified and stratified groups. The unstratified group has a risk difference of -0.1, ranging from -6.9 to 6.6 percentage points. The stratified group has a risk difference of -0.2, ranging from -6.9 to 6.5 percentage points. To the right, a table shows the number and percentage of unsuccessful outcomes: 28 out of 202 participants (13.9%) for the trial strategy, and 28 out of 200 participants (14.0%) for the control strategy.
