"Has the Voynich finally been cracked?" is the End Boss of Betteridge's Law of Headlines www.theguardian.com/culture/2026...

A medieval manuscript has confounded scholars for centuries. Have they been reading it wrong all this time?
Researchers argue incorrect binding of Voynich manuscript radically changes ideas about its drawings and indecipherable text

There probably is a point to make here. But you'd need a much more recent reference - Bukayo Saka on the inflatable unicorn maybe, and how we need to be watchful about backsliding since then John Barnes in the 80s is very much NOT IT

The other day she said the 90s had a lack of news Barnes moved to Liverpool when she was 7. Fair enough her not being aware of this stuff at the time. But you could check? It's insanely lazy

It's mad that Boeing - Boeing - didn't have the confidence to introduce a new aircraft. And I guess risk the Ryanairs switching to A320s? So they pretended this thing with the engines sticking up over the wing is still a 737. And hence cursed

Unpopular opinion: LLMs are generally deradicalizing people whose beliefs are based on pure propaganda. I've been watching this happen slowly with some people I care about. ChatGPT is one of the reasons they finally accept that the NRA, OAN, and NewsMax are lying to them.
