If politicians really cared about stopping sketchy creepers from doing things to kids and adults, they would spend a lot more time reading r/smartglasses.

I know "AI can't do anything" and such, but using it to plan a multi week trip, keeping human intelligence in the loop, has been a fascinating experience. So many little things I would not have thought of, like fruits and vegetables in their absolute peak weeks at my location.

One of the most effective weapons we had was to call Republicans weird and point out that everything they are obsessed with is true of them, whether it's a good, neutral, or bad thing they're yelling about.

People who have only ever worked in tech and never in physical industry don't understand how big of a deal diesel prices are to business owners and often thus conservatives. I remember being in a meeting where we had to discuss laying people off because of how high diesel was a long time ago.

Whether or not AI will reach the heights some people claim, one of the bigger problems we have in society today is a lot of people using it for things it absolutely cannot currently do well. The more notable and arrogant a person is, the more likely they seemed to be suckered by it.
