Pile(BUN)ker. I usually don't work on this during the week, but I needed to unwind something fierce and this helps fight the bad brain bullshit. So, I spent time trying out audio for the execute. Made 5 different cam angles for the kill to reduce fatigue. I am pleased. #CherubDev #UE5 #GameDev

procedural generation without procedural generation this is something like a traditional "rooms and halls" style dungeon generator, but it's pure cellular automata. no traditional placement or corridor carving algorithm at all! i've tried to keep post light- just a gentle orthoconnect pass.

games never needed to look better than FF12 maybe more power to make things run smoother, allow for faster combat, HD textures maybe, i don't know in terms of realism we never needed more than FF12 the amount of detail expected from games nowadays is ridiculous and detrimental to good art direction
