If your goal is to support a healthy gut, come back to the basics: include plenty of fibre, eat a wide variety of plants, drink enough water & keep doing those things consistently. It may not be as exciting as the latest wellness trend, but it’s what we know makes the biggest difference. #guthealth

A new drug called daraxonrasib nearly doubled survival time for patients with #pancreatic #cancer enrolled in a phase-3 clinical trial. That’s a big deal, because treatment options for pancreatic cancer are limited and survival rates at 5 years are very low.

GOOD NEWS! A personalized mRNA vaccine, known as mRNA-4157, has shown promise in keeping melanoma, a deadly skin cancer, from returning. FIVE years later, NEARLY 70% of people in the vaccine group are CANCER-FREE. The vaccine also cut a person’s risk of the cancer metastasizing by NEARLY 60%.

1/ “#LeakyGut” is all over social media, linked to everything from bloating & fatigue to brain fog, allergies & even chronic diseases. But right now, leaky gut syndrome is not an official medical diagnosis & there’s no solid scientific evidence that it causes these wide-ranging health problems.

Early colorectal cancer often has no symptoms. That’s why preventative screening is extremely important! As a tumor grows, it can lead to serious symptoms that should never be ignored. These are: -A persistent change in bowel habits such as constipation, diarrhea or narrowing of the stool.
