Absolute bonus to have used today's birthday day off for a walk in Essex, first in a very long time. Saw our first Brimstone Butterfly and several peacocks and bees. Heard skylarks and curlew. Smelt blossom and violets. A feast for the senses, especially after so many rainy days.
