Requiring human monitoring of underbaked, unproven technology is a simple and common sense regulation. These vehicles don't even have a way to clear their own sensors yet. These vehicles are programmed to park in bike and bus lanes. "a driver in a driverless car" is a bad faith argument.

Just walked around my apartment's parking garage a couple days ago and (w/o meaning to) found SO MANY spots a bike hangar could go that would not in any way interfere with the car parking. I love my new Gazelle, but if I had a place to put a cargo bike, I would have one of those, instead.

We're finally joining the #carryshitolympics! It's a modest entry, but there's more there than it looks like. Also, we really need a dedicated cargo trailer. We had to lock our dog in the other room so he didn't get excited when we got his trailer out. 😅

There are even more fences today. Many of them are blocking walking paths and require you to go around via the grass. Many times, the correct path to take to get around is unclear. Again, these will be here until next week, even though the event doesn't start until Friday.

I am getting more and more annoyed with the way Flicker is handling this upcoming festival in Minneapolis. It screams "outsider coming in and taking advantage of our parks and community spaces without appreciating the community that occupies those spaces" to me.

I know my bias is showing here, but AI users are SO lazy. Was at a market today, and a vendor with an AI menu not only started packing up way before the end of the market (a big no-no in the pop-up market world), but also dumped all their ice on the walking path and just left it there.

It is time for Mpls Parks to close this lot to the public (Mill Ruins Parking Lot). Allow access only for those who have an accessiblity need. Also, install light system for exiting cars (only on green light) and install warning beacons for ped/cyclists.

Here she finally is! My new (used) Gazelle. Went on a 14-mile trip to the Mill City Farmer's Market, Ole Olson Park, and the Upper Harbor Terminal. She is a SMOOTH ride. Got that suspension seat post and fork. They work like a dream. I need help naming her.

Legitimately, if Sioux Falls could wrap its head around the fact that cars are bad for cities, it could be an AMAZING city. Like, in all seriousness, it could actually rival Minneapolis. It has the other ingredients in the recipe. But it's missing the most important one, so it can never compete.
