Bike/pedestrian networks don't take 30 years to build. Stop accepting those timelines in your community. The best practices have been proven & they already exist. Safety should already be the #1 priority. The ROI is unbeatable. The timeline is a moral document and it shouldn't be generational.

One of these is an oversized, elitist mobility vehicle. The other is an e-cargo bike. One tears up our local infrastructure and is a threat to people outside of it. The other weaves into the urban fabric, accomplishing a lot and asks for very little.

We had our oven cleaned and every six months a nice person calls to check if we need it again. I’m always polite, have a chat, and say no but at some point will say yes. Yesterday an AI voice called five times to offer cleaning by same company. It even left voicemails. Blocked and no. Never

Two years ago today, we turned Upper Highgate Street into a Play Street and remembered four year old Mayar Yahia, tragically killed by a driver. Two years on, the street is still no safer. We hope the council delivers the changes proposed in tribute to Mayar. #WorldCarFreeDay #VisionZero

Ok I was nearly mown down by a dad on a lime bike with three kids on board and obviously I'm like... nope don't do that... while also being awestruck it was even possible. I think a few more cargo bikes in the fleet might be useful/safer.

Great report and polling from @cyclinguk.bsky.social re: pluralistic ignorance - where someone supports a policy while believing their neighbours wouldn’t agree. Half support new cycle routes but believe only a third agree. Likewise for reducing speed limits. School streets greater (70% v 49%).
