Saw a clean del Sol in black coming down while I was on my way up Highway 9 this morning. Instant motivation to get mine back to the road

Spooky late night walk in a probably not haunted fall forest? Pretty sure not haunted. Maybe a little. I have a lantern. No, I don't have a back up lantern, it's probably fine. #FursuitFriday

Rat racer on a boulangerie run. A collaboration with @fpiatti.bsky.social who built & painted the car (and took these photos!) 💛 Tried a bunch of new things in terms of materials for this one! Really happy with how it turned out 😊

Some Office Space appreciation.

A digital painting depicting a red dragon working at a desk within a dull office cubicle. They are cherishing their unique red stapler whilst pondering whether to burn down their place of employment. The dragon is based upon the character "Milton Waddams" from the 1999 film Office Space.

How do you know you have a dead led? Switching loco direction toggles front and rear lights. Front is fine and there is potential across the rear led legs so the decoder output is solid

Low speed is pretty well matched, but at the faster end maybe a coule laps and the fast SD9 will be helping the slow one around

Spent a couple hours yesterday learning the finer points of motor voltages, motor trims, trottle curves and back emf settings while trying to dial in all the diesel power for consist running. One slow SD9 dialed to 11 and one hot waaaay de-tuned. Still needs tuning, but close enough for now

With effort you can rescue pretty some pretty neglected material Brought this wheel back from the dead with the same process with a few wash/rinse actions (it was so icky!) Needed a bunch of love after to knock down the pills and bring the short fuzz texture back, but it was fuzzy again

I use a med/soft bristle tooth brush to agitate your cleaner of choice into the fibers then tamp dry with a terry/microfiber towel. I'll follow up with a hot water rinse w/ another clean towel. As it dries it'll pull more gunk to the ends of the fibers, might have to rinse more than once

Friends with fancy suede steering wheels: plz clean them periodically to keep them feeling and looking fresh. Its basically a microfiber towel and will pick up all kinds of gunk making it look matted and shiny in high wear places.
