Twitch now uses your channel to train generative AI by default. You can opt out of some training here: www.twitch.tv/settings/sec...

Training for Generative AI

Allow your channel content to train generative AI content models at Amazon. Turning this off does not opt you out of Twitch and Amazon using your channel content for other purposes described in the Twitch Privacy Notice, including using AI-supported Twitch features that benefit the community by facilitating streamer growth and monetization (such as real-time sponsorship campaign assistance), viewer discovery (such as recommendations), and community safety (such as AutoMod). Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

I would be very cautious about this "sponsorship platform" called SocialDB / socialdb.xyz . - Domain created 46 days ago. - Claims to have 14K sponsors (and 956K influencers). - Hidden registrar (lists an apartment building on-site). - ScamAdvisor Warning + Gridinsoft Warning.

Twitch is introducing Age Verification in some regions, using on-device facial age estimation technology (k-ID).

How to Complete Verification
Step 1: When prompted, you'll see a "Verify Your Age" screen explaining the requirement.

Step 2: Complete the face scan by:

Allowing camera access when prompted
Ensuring you're in a well-lit area
Removing headwear that covers your face
Keeping glasses on if you normally wear them
Following on-screen instructions for the scan
Step 3: Receive confirmation of your verification status and proceed with your Twitch experience.

eyes are on furry SFW artists now. They won’t listen to us because we’re the freaks. They’ll listen to you because you’re one of the “good ones.” Speak for those they’ve deemed okay to ignore, and harass. I’ve been where you are. I’ve lost my “good” card. It was worth every bared tooth. Your turn.

Twitch now has a process for Managing a Deceased Persons' Account, which covers: 1. Requesting Payment Cancelation 2. Downloading/Archiving Video 3. Requesting Account Deletion

Managing a Deceased Persons' Account
When a Twitch user passes away, their family or a representative may wish to manage aspects of the account. While we do not have an account memorialisation feature, our team will try their best to help you.

We have included some specific common requests below, but please don’t hesitate to contact our team if your query is different. Contact us here (Category “Privacy” and Sub-Category “Deceased User”).

Some common requests include:

Requesting Payments Cancellation

Contact us here (Category “Privacy” and Sub-Category “Deceased User”).

We can help a family member or representative cancel and refund recurring charges on the account of a deceased person. We may request more information if we are unable to locate the account.

We also recommend reaching out to the bank to request cancellation of automatic charges.

Downloading or Archiving Video Content

Contact us here (Category “Privacy” and Sub-Category “Deceased User”).

Family members or representatives may wish to access the deceased person’s past broadcast, clips, highlights, or archives to preserve their memory.

Requesting Account Deletion

If you'd like to request the account to be closed and deleted, please contact us here (Category “Privacy” and Sub-Category “Deceased User”).

It is our goal to make this process as easy as possible. When you contact us, we will need to verify key details to ensure the validity of the request. Please don’t hesitate to contact us here, and our team will do their best to assist.
