Critical thinking is essential because we can so easily fall into horrible situations by assuming that everyone thinks the same way that we do. I have met so many people who say they love everyone, but what they actually mean is they love everyone except [blank] and they assume you think the same.

I hate to be "old enby yells at clouds," but I think the difference is that the old games invited you to put your imagination into it.
