Banks Peninsula Green candidate Craig Pauling absolutely tearing it up at Te Waipapa/ Diamond Harbour tonight. Young ACT candidate behind him seems totally stunned whereas as current MP is smirking as usual.
View from audience at community candidate meeting. A woman in a red top with grey hair had her back to the audience. A good looking Māori man is speaking at a podium. Behind home a young male candidate states blankly while a middle aged woman MP smirks

Nicky Hager’s Dirty Work belongs in the fiction section
Former minister Chris Penk says that there’s an element of Dirty Work inherent in printing a succession of anonymous comments without a right of reply.

We have up to 8 kererū visiting our heavily flowering tī kōuka at present. These two are something of outsiders and have been relegated to the waiting area, perching on some dead branches. #aotearoabirds
Two kererū sitting in a tī kōuka or cabbage tree. The birds are green and rusty red large pigeon-like with long necks and small heads. The trees has long spiky green leaves. They are perching on the end of dead branches. In the background is a harbour scene with a township, a cruise ship and the hill formed by an ancient volcano.

Nice to see people agreeing with Green policy. These changes can't come fast enough. www.thepost.co.nz/politics/360...
Screenshot of Post article that says

Focusing more on renewables that we can access immediately here at home, like solar, wind, more hydro, and in the future supercritical geothermal – all with a battery attached – can help us become more self sufficient and less beholden to being at the end of a vulnerable supply chain. It’ll cost, but it’ll add a lot more to the local economy than buying additional more imaginary “oil tickets” with countries overseas, or simply holding more Middle Eastern oil here at home.
