Starting a new project, inspired by a hanging quilt I saw in Bridport recently. It's just a scrap quilt made with sheer fabric to hang against a window and let the light through. Keeping it flat is a challenge as was getting a stitch that would work. #fabricart #creativity #fibreart #quilt

Mystery object. What this is?? It's sewn all round with a turn over at thin end. Approx 50cm at longest point which has about 7cm sewn over, so you insert something. The rest is flat, double-sided but has no openings. The fabric is silky, probably rayon. #mysteryobject #mystery #whatisthis #fabric

This week’s walk, train to Maiden Newton and walk back to Dorchester, 12 miles. This walk was across 2 valleys which involved 3 of the longest steepest hills walks, 1200 ft of assent/dissent. Visited probably Dorset’s most isolated art installation, Forcey’s bell tower. Weather very hot, again…🥵
