ColdWar Leopard 1, nice game on Fisherman’s Bay with a rare sighting of an Armadillo, it was so OP when first released that I stopped playing ColdWar, since being nerfed it’s pretty much vanished. It was almost a complete Xbox v Ps game 11 per side… win for team Xbox 🎉😂 #WorldofTanks

Chieftain Mk5 had a 10k+ game but only a 1st class. The definition of a heavy in Era2 is it’s a bit slower than a medium as the armour you’re lugging about is virtually useless.

ColdWar Era2 both teams have 8 lights In what looks like an overload. But what usually happens is the auto-cannon only ones will YoLo of into the distance and the rest will sit at the back waiting for some other tank type to spot for them so they can use their ATGMs… 🤪😂 #WorldofTanks

Chieftain Mk5 giving Era2 another go thought I might as well play what is generally considered the worst heavy in Er2. Had a good game and the changes to skills and equipment have certainly made it better… not sure the word enjoyable should be used 🤔😂 #WorldofTanks

On stage 8 of the Sharpshooter contract, just XP to grind so I’m just using the entry tanks as they earn much better XP than the higher tanks… makes getting MVP much easier and they’re free 😊😂#WorldofTanks

First Era2 game in the Type 79 medium. Era2 is dominated by light tanks, this game had 6 per side. Lots of ATGMs & auto cannons all a bit bonkers. Good for a laugh but don’t take it serious…🤪😂 #WorldofTanks

This weeks walk was a repeat of the Maiden Newton to Dorchester via Forcey’s Tower,12 miles. The cooler weather was welcome and also meant there were cows out in the fields, during the very hot weather I’ve hardly seen any. Found a large iron pyrite nodule, at first I thought it was a cannon ball.

AMX 30A nice mastery game, this came as a surprise as apart from a few ok games it was a terrible session dominated by YoLo’ing FV107s, so boring having to deal with these totally OP lights in every game. Also had Liberty Falls 3x what’s it even doing in ColdWar. #WorldofTanks

M47 Patton 3 marked, another ColdWar tank I hadn’t played since bots were removed from the stats, got a nice 12% increase from the first game (78-90%) took another 13 games to get to 95% An enjoyable mid Era1 Tank, I’ve no idea where the skin came from. #WorldofTanks

Type 61 B nice game on Nebelburg. Probably the main reason for playing ColdWar is the maps, so good to see Nebelburg and Halfaya pass again (they’ve vanished from WW2) plus you get the 5 ColdWar exclusive maps, also many of the terrible small ones have been removed😊 #Worldoftanks

M46 Patton KR another very old earn OP T8 premium. Actually got MVP in a medium & got to see the screen, for some reason the game constantly skips this results screen. Bottom tier as usual but did the second highest damage in a T10 game #WorldofTanks

This week’s walk was our longest yet 13.89 miles to Hardy’s monument and back. Finally got to the top of the monument. The 40 mile views were fantastic from the Isle of Wight in the east to Start point in west. Saw my 1st Grass snake. Countryside very dry, more Australia than Dorset #Dorset #walking

This weeks walk, bus to Cerne Abbas then walk back to Dorchester via Piddletrenthide. Looks like all the wheat & barley has been harvested, passed a lot of regenerative fields with a mix of sunflowers, lacy phacelia, chicory etc they seem to be doing ok. Not as hot but definitely not cool, very dry.

Churchill A43 Black Prince prototype. Had a couple of excellent games, I haven’t had a Radley Walters medal in a long time. It’s an ok tank when not up against tier 8’s and strangely has lower 1st mark requirements than the tier 5 premium Churchill…🤔🤪

This week’s walk, train to Maiden Newton and walk back to Dorchester, 12 miles. This walk was across 2 valleys which involved 3 of the longest steepest hills walks, 1200 ft of assent/dissent. Visited probably Dorset’s most isolated art installation, Forcey’s bell tower. Weather very hot, again…🥵
