Art SOOTHES PAIN! Art is for KITCHENS! ART IS LIKE GOOD BREAD! ART IS CHEAP!

the why cheap art? manifesto
People have been thinking too long that art is a privilege of the museums & the rich. Art is not a business!
It does not belong to banks & fancy investors
Art is food. You can't eat it but it feeds you. Art has to be cheap & available to everybody. It needs to be everywhere because it is inside of the world.
Art soothes pain!
Art wakes up sleepers!
Art fights against war & stupidity!
Art sings halleluja!
Art is for kitchens!
Art is like good bread!
Art is like green trees!
Art is like white clouds in blue sky!
Art is cheap!
Hurrah!

I am thrilled and proud beyond measure to support the amazing workers who create and design the games I and my loved ones have spent a lifetime playing. I implore everybody to sign the petition and signal boost the campaign as far and wide as we can!

Jan Lukas Kuhn
Arbeitskalender voll, Taschen leer

star-eyed mage

an illustration of a mage clad in dark armour and a blue and purple cloak, whose left eye has been replaced with a star, the flesh around which is scarred with blood dripping from it. her hair billows around her, following the comet-like trail of the light from her replaced eye. she holds a tome in her armoured-glad left hand, the tips of which are stained with blood. smaller stars are scattered around her.

The painful thing is how those of us in the disability community predicted this outcome - both that ignoring COVID and taking no measures to restrict it's spread would lead to a massive increase in disability, and that those disabled would be blamed for their own conditions.

Haunted reflection 🧛 #vtm

Illustration of my vtm character Ellair, from a scene in our campaign where he was stuck in a nightmare. His bf is dead at his feet. Around him, broken reflections show all the people who have died because of him. In a shattered mirror he sees himself, but as the monster he has turned into, in a pool of blood, glowing eyes and long bloodied claws.
