I had a similar Aiwa shelf stereo for a couple of decades. It sounded amazing!
The best part was a pseudo-Karaoke function where, when you pushed the button, it would attempt to remove the lead vocal from any song. It worked about 75% of the time. My friends and I had a blast with that.
