Hopefully this year! I can tell you, it was a pain to collect and analyze. for the ESM alone, we had more than 4000 open-ended responses that we all Double-coded by two independent reviewers. And there was so much heterogeneity. But also the most valuable thing I ever learned about measurement :)

Uhh, we are currently analyzing a study where we asked people to tell us what they were thinking while rating emotions (for 28 days, 5x a day), we also had 3 interviews in that time. and one of our codes for the interviews is actually called "just vibes" 😁

Very happy that my project about "gaming" automated peer review tools has been awarded an NWO XS grant 🤩 🤸‍♀️ We know that peer review is overburdened, so could we use automated tools to help out? ... maybe, but one of the things we still don't know much about is the risk of "gaming" these tools.

We're developing alternative ways to shorten questionnaires, given psychology's questionable focus on inter-item correlations. We are looking for datasets: - clinical (mental health) - contains diagnosis - contains long form - contains short form Steep requirements, but maybe someone knows smth?

One example: babies have to have the will to breathe on their own. If they have trouble breathing when they come out, don't help, cause if they don't do it themselves, they don't have the will to live.

And in which they more often preferred theoretical network models with more fancy arrows instead of their own. Also annotated time series seem to be easier to interpret for them, especially if there's open-ended responses added.
