I am proud to be the shared first author on a paper that was recently out in @jamapsychiatry.com! We have shown that people often misinterpret the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ) instructions. Many respond based just on the symptom frequency, which is concerning. jamanetwork.com/journals/jam...
