In 2022, 36% of new HIV diagnoses in the UK were in women. And yet “[At a clinician level] women are not being offered standard HIV testing or prevention that is in line with the proportion of new diagnoses among this demographic,” says NAT’s policy & research manager. #HIV #WomensHealth

If you like tongue-in-cheek.... read on... In the 1990s, Gay Men Fighting AIDS played a pivotal role in HIV prevention & awareness within the community. The org was known for its innovative & bold approach to health promotion, often using explicit content to convey messages about safe sex. 1/

People living with #HIV should have the right to determine when, or even if, they share their status. Someone’s HIV status is personal health data and should not be shared without explicit and informed consent.
