Today is Zero HIV Stigma Day. This year’s theme is 'Fact Over Fear'. We have *so* much good science, inc 10y of U=U, but science alone does not end stigma, and it remains a huge barrier to ending HIV transmission. As BHIVA Chair I am committed to ending HIV stigma wherever it is seen or experienced

Great presentation on pregnant patient living with #HIV who wanted a home birth. Place of birth in HIV isn’t just clinical - it’s shaped by trust, autonomy, past experiences & access. Guidelines favour hospital birth, but real world care needs MDT planning & listening to patients. #BHIVABASHH26

Victoria Pilkington estimates the potential impact of opt-out #HIV testing in Primary Care if this were integrated into the NHS Health Checks programme. This has the potential to identify more people outside of ED opt-out testing, and may be more cost effective! #BHIVABASHH26
