Türchen Nr. 1️⃣7️⃣ Medien geniessen unterschiedlich hohes Vertrauen – am meisten die News-Angebote von SRF & RTS oder von (qualitätsstarken) Abonnementszeitungen, weniger die Angebote von reichweitestarken Pendler- und Boulevard-Medien oder Mail-Anbietern.
Die Darstellung zeigt, für wie vertrauenswürdig die Schweizer Bevölkerung die Nachrichten aus verschiedenen Quellen bzw. Medientiteln einstuft (Quelle: Reuters Institute, 2024). Die elfstufige Skala reicht von 0 = «überhaupt nicht vertrauenswürdig» bis 10 = «absolut vertrauenswürdig».
Lesebeispiel: Im Durchschnitt stufen die Befragten die Inhalte von SRF News bzw. RTS News als sehr vertrauenswürdig ein (m = 7,0). Dagegen werden die Nachrichten von Blick mit einem Mittelwert von 5,0 als weniger vertrauenswürdig eingeschätzt.

Wir sind schon bei Nr. 1️⃣0️⃣ #Adventskalender Grosse Veränderungen bei der Mediennutzung in den letzten 15 Jahren. Viel wichtiger als noch 2009 sind heute zwei Gruppen mit verschiedenen News-Repertoires: die digital-affinen "Global Surfer" und die "News-Deprivierten", die relativ wenig News nutzen.
Die Darstellung zeigt die Anteilsentwicklung der sechs Repertoiretypen im Zeitraum von 2009 bis 2024 (n = 55’066). Von 2016 auf 2017 wurde das Set der zugrunde liegenden Medienkategorien erweitert.
Lesebeispiel: Der Anteil der «News-Deprivierten» nimmt von 20,7 % im Jahr 2009 auf 45,7 % im Jahr 2024 zu.

🗳️ One of my main professional interests is studying referendums. In Switzerland, there are quite a few … which makes it interesting to compare media coverage across referendums. My report shows that the upcoming November referendums, for instance, do not seem to trigger that much interest. Why?
