My first self developed roll of color film! Definitely some minor issues, but I think more related to me underexposing on my Minox 35. Kodak Gold 200 developed with the Film Photography Project new color negative development kit #believeinfilm #filmphotography #filmisnotdead

Unpopular motivation hack for drawing: Start drawing immediately, even if it feels impossible. After 15 minutes, your brain will recognize the difficult task and create dopamine to help you keep going. Agonizing endlessly before the drawing doesn't help your creative process.

Here's some pictures from a test roll of HP5+ shot on a Minox 35 G, exposed at 320, D-76. Not sure how I feel about them, but the GT is more fun than the GL, mostly because the film advance is less cranky, and I do love a self timer. #believeinfilm #filmphotography #filmisnotdead #minox35

This adorable bandit making off with the fountain from our birdbath. I'm sure she was thinking, "I'll be able to wash my hands anywhere!" Until she pulled it out of the water and it stopped working.

This movie is so heartfelt and sweet, and absolutely got me into birding. And my wife too, a few years later. Everyone we've introduced it to really enjoyed it as well. Perfect Sunday afternoon movie, and even better if you like birds!

I took these pictures through a fence with my Canon Multi-Tele in half frame mode. Happy Fence Friday! Half Frame Friday?? Ilford HP5+, D-76 #HFF #believeinfilm #filmphotography #filmisnotdead
The first frame shows real birds (Black Crowned Night Herons), the second, a fake coyote not scaring the birds. Both are framed by square cutouts in the fence

A2- my current favorite lens is the Olympus m.zuiko 70-300 F4.8-6.7. It's comparatively light, and with the m43 it ends up being 600mm equivalent, so I can really reach out and catch birds that I wouldn't otherwise. It's not great in low light, but it's not terrible with my Em10 either #photochat

A1- my favorite, and only digital camera, besides my pixel 6, is an Olympus Em10ii. I use it mostly for bird photography and the occasional landscape. I find it a little frustrating to use-- the menu system is just not intuitive. But, it's super light and portable! #photochat

I'm super excited-- just developed my own film for the first time! This is Ilford HP5+ 400 that I shot in a Canon Multi-Tele, a point and shoot that can do half frame and full frame. This is my first roll of half frame. Fun!! #believeinfilm #filmphotography #filmisnotdead

I got a weird little point and shoot film camera for my birthday. I shot a roll of the cheapest color film I could find, and I had some decent shots. These are the best, or at least the ones I like the most.
