At SABR a couple weeks ago, Bob DiBiasio was telling @dizzle729.bsky.social and me about his year in exile in Atlanta -- which coincided with Willie Stargell coaching there. Bob said pregame, he just happened to be pondering out loud about how anyone could possible hit a ball to the upper deck...

I don't disagree but Danica was a marginal talent at best. There were other female drivers more talented and more personable but never got the run cause they weren't models.
