I was pretty devastated when the Fleet got knocked out of the playoffs, and I've got nothing against Montreal (despite the close games, frankly they skated circles around us in the regular season), but I just think it'd be pretty dope if Ottawa took it. And that's my jock thought of the day.

LWJ dating dadxian, and planning a whole host of activities to win A-Yuan over: the aquarium, the zoo, a theme park. He can’t tell whether he’s making any progress until one day while having a snack, A-Yuan gives his trash to LWJ instead of WWX.

It's Ning Yuan's birthday today so I MEANT to put together an epub of 'volume one' of the translation (chapters 1 to 36) but was defeated by Life (my nemesis). HOWEVER all is not lost as I can still show you the amazing cover graphics @guoldu.bsky.social created for the epub!

Front cover design by guoldu. An impractically large woman in purple lays in the background amidst the flames, while in the foreground Bian Jin (in blue) and Shen Ni (in red) fall through the air while grasping each other. Primary colors used are reds, pinks yellows and purples.

Back cover design by guoldu. Two women in Tang dynasty official wear face each other. The woman in red (Shen Ni) grasps Bian Jin's hand and holds her palm to her mouth.

I've been trying to write several different fics for many many months, but I just DON'T have it anymore. It's so frustrating. I have the ideas and the desire, but I sit down to write and nothing comes out. The one story I finished in this time was eaten by the cloud thanks to some BS with gdocs.

#repostyourart day 5 is "mountain" This is fanart I did of "Last of our Kind" by @shiome.bsky.social, a canon-divergent #xiyao fic that takes place in Dongying (Japan) after the events of MDZS. I used black and colored India #ink on multimedia paper. #traditionalart

Two figures making their way up a mountain path, one on a horse while the other walks on foot, with a great mountain beyond the view of an open sea in the background. The illustration is done in an ukiyo-e inspired style.

I think you could tell Liu Qingge the dumb lies people tell kids and he'd just. believe them unchallenged for an alarmingly long time. Not many people have the guts to correct him, and it hardly ever comes up, either, so he just goes on thinking he can't swallow cherry pits or he'll get pregnant 😌

When you think about it, LWJ really is very *younger son* coded. He does what he wants, feels zero obligation to be likeable, probably hates all his relatives, and somehow had everyone adjusting to his whims by the end of the book.

misvil is really revolutionary for having one character kill and eternally torture another character's trafficker and present his immortally tormented soul to him as a birthday gift and it's like, a spectacular romantic overture and not supposed to be scary at all.

when you're waiting for the bus and this weird fellow with a leaf on his head sneaks up on you bea's march request was a recreation of that one totoro scene! #mdzs #BRart

digital drawing of foxxian carrying a sleeping bearyuan on his back while holding a yellow umbrella over the both of them, and noodleji to the side with his loooong neck, peaceful face and a leaf on his head.

they are both on the side of a dirt road, in front of a few bushes and giant tree trunks that make you think of a dark and somehow scary forest at night. To their left, a sign that says "cution, strange beast in this area, eyes open"

limber up, shizun! ( ＾∀＾) 🩵

binghe smiling while helping sqq do a big forward stretch! sqq acts like an 80 year old senior but is actually quite limber, and well known for a big windup when he pitches! so graceful like a crane ^^ binghe’s cleats have a little pawprint design while sqq’s were supposed to be like bird feet but my brush was too big…
binghe’s jade guanyin is out over his jersey and he has both hands guiding sqq. i’m sure the heavenly pillar is also helping.

I've discovered my superpower: I crocheted a nearly 3000 stitch chain for a lace pattern....and counted it perfectly. With no stitch markers. The only thing that keeps me from ascending to godhood is the fact that I will still miscount a chain in the 30-100 stitch range Every Time.
