Fiber artists and crafters are doing their part. I came across the Melt the ICE hat and purchased the crochet pattern for $5 from YarnCultMN on Ravelry. If you would like a hat but don't know how to knit or crochet, I will crochet one for you for $5 and donate the money to immigrant aid agencies.

Crochet version of the melt the ICE hat.

In the 1940’s, Norwegians made and wore red pointed hats with a tassel as a form of visual protest against Nazi occupation of their country. Within two years, the Nazis made these protest hats illegal and punishable by law to wear, make, or distribute. As purveyors of traditional craft, we felt it appropriate to revisit this design.

All proceeds from the sale of this pattern go to the immigrant aid agencies who will distribute the funds to those impacted by the actions of ICE.

Approximately 200 yards of RED yarn of your choice in fingering, DK, or Worsted weight.
The sample shown was knit in Blue Sky Fibers Skyland for the DK version

Suggested Needles
Fingering weight yarn: US #4 / 3.5mm
DK weight yarn: US #6 / 4mm
Worsted weight yarn: US #8 / 5mm

Notions
Tapestry needle, scissors

Errata
Pattern has been updated to clarify how to do the decreases.

There is now a crochet version of the hat available.

DizziDreams
Summary:
She always knew about the danger in the woods.

Since she was a girl, her aunts, her mother, everyone had told her about the hungry dark that swallowed up little girls who went wandering too far from home. They had warned her of vines that dragged children into the ground and spat out their bones a fortnight later, without so much as a scrap of meat left clinging to them. They told her about monsters that cried like babies to lure soft hearts into their claws. And most of all, they told her about the castle at the heart of the forest, where even death was no escape from the hunger of a beast.

If they’d known how the stories thrilled her, how that thrill brought her to the woods again and again, brushing fingertips over the bony blades of tall grass and the ossified trunks of trees, maybe they wouldn’t have told them at all.

Harrow was not a girl afraid of death.

So, what’s this all about?” he asked, plopping down onto her sofa uninvited. “Despite my obvious charms and sex appeal, I don’t think that’s why you called me here.”
Wen Qing ignored the bait, taking a seat next to him and turning to face him. “I didn’t call you here. I asked you here.”
“Bahgol, bayh-gol,” Wei Wuxian waved a dismissive hand.
“Neither of those pronunciations was correct.”
“Ah, well. My Klingon’s a little rusty. Qing-jie, what’s this about?”

Shen Yuan is very respectful and would never ogle his bestie Liu Qingge, no matter how tight his wetsuit is. #wipwednesday

The tide is currently in, the warm seawater lapping calmly at Shen Yuan’s toes. Deeper in the water, Liu Qingge cuts swiftly through the water, sunlight sparkling off of the exposed skin of his arms—-the only exposed skin on his body, as he opted to pack a wholeass wet suit, despite the warmth of the water.
It can’t be comfortable, Shen Yuan laments. Poor Liu-di must be hot. But a brief look at his chat earlier was enough to make him grateful that Liu Qingge had opted out of anything more revealing. Even just his arms had Shen Yuan’s chat slathering like a pack of rabid rodents. At least this way Shen Yuan doesn’t have to spend his time protecting Liu-di’s modesty! He’s supposed to be recovering!

Shang Qinghua flops down on the sand next to Shen Yuan’s chair with a groan. “So what’s with the sudden trip?” he asks, leaning back on his elbows to watch the water. “Just a sudden desire to take in ‘the sights’?”
There’s a strange emphasis on the last two words and, sure enough, when Shen Yuan shoots a glance his way, Shang Qinghua is all but waggling his eyebrows at him.
Ugh. Lech.
“It’s a private beach,” he retorts dismissively. “It’s just me, you, and Liu-di. There’s no women to leer at.”
Shen Yuan turns his attention back towards the water, where Liu Qingge is still swimming laps, the effort of his muscles visible even through the blue fabric of his wetsuit as his arms pull his body forward in long, powerful strokes.
“…bro.”

“Space is big.” Jiang Cheng was looking at him, his eyes narrowed. “It’s possible.”
